Narrative Director

Andrea Brasch

Studio Idun, led by Andrea Brasch, is at the forefront of developing captivating narrative games.

Andrea is a storyteller with over 20 years of experience as a writer, director and creator of games and interactive art.

She explores technology's intersection with humanity, delving into the human condition through various mediums, including classic narratives and innovative technologies. Andrea uses platform games to delve into the human quest for fulfilment and existential longing. Her work has received global acclaim and won many prizes, and has been exhibited widely from ISEA - International Symposium on Electronic Arts, Hong Kong to The 55th Venice Biennale in Italy.

She is the driving force behind the Game Girl Workshop, which equips teenage girls in locations such as Palestine, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia with the skills to create games, bringing a positive force of change to the male dominated area of game creation and consumption.

Andrea is also the visionary behind Lyst Summit, a thought-provoking symposium and workshop exploring romance, love, and sex in games.
